Craigslist?

Does anyone frequent Craigslist?

Man... I find all kinds of cool stuff there...

I like craigslist. It has become my new ebay.

I like it because you can list things for free. My daughter uses it quite a bit.

I sold our Hammond and our church Piano on CL.

Had a Methodist church and a Lutheren church from 100 miles away wanting the organ.

We had not used either for some time as we have went charismatic and use a Roland keyboard now ;-)

I don't look at either e-bay or Craig's List, but my husband looks at boats just about every day. He doesn't even need another boat. My son looks at motorcycles and he doesn't need another motorcycle. What is up with that? :toofunny

I don't know girl.

People are crazy.

Some folks even bring home dogs when they don't need one.

You never know when you might find something you had no ideal that you needed. :)

Yes, just send me a copy of your drivers licence, your credit card and a blank check and I will get you signed up right away! All for a one time low fee of 14.99
That is fourteen ninety nine per minute, for a 15 year service contract. Some exclusions may vary, prices subject to change without notice.

Re: Craigslist?

I've been selling on Ebay for almost ten years. I've been selling on CL sporatically for the last three weeks. So far I've made about $500 on useless stuff in my garage. It's way better than Ebay for stuff like that cuz it's cash and carry and it's free and there no crybaby or scamming buyers to hassle with. On Ebay sellers have absolutely no recourse against cheaters like they used to. Ebay still is better for collectibles and some stuff, but for large stuff and stuff that doesn't do well on Ebay then Craigslist is the best. Literally, three or four times I have had people call me and come and buy my stuff within an hour of listing it on CL. Wow!

Okay, after reading further it seems Michael noticed this also. Now I will be looking at Craigslist for something. Not sure what it will be, but I hope it's free.

Yeah I have noticed that.

I don't sell on ebay but I got a notice that seemed to say, in a nutshell, that the sellers couldn't gripe about you.

I have a perfect rating on ebay... safe buyer for sure... I found it odd that sellers did not have any recourse. As a buyer it makes my good rating meaningless. If you cannot rate me down for not paying then what does a good rating mean anymore?

Unless I am misunderstanding the situation.

I have spent only a little time there. I will keep it in mind when I have a need to buy/sell.
