Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans
Walking. I'll leave the apartment around 5:30am and be back by 2 pm. I'll crash and burn after that and then try to tidy things up and prepare for having a friend over the next day.
(I work on Thanksgiving day...time and a half when you work fast food means a lot) |
Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans

Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans
I am flying to my Father's in Hollywood, Fla. he is not all that well. So my wife is going to fix dinner for the family on Thanksgiving.
|
Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans
We will have Thanksgiving with hubby's family today, and then with my family on Thursday, early afternoon. After that we will go to Sis. Truthseeker's and have a second dinner with them. Harmony may be joining us as well.
I told STS that I'm tired of going to other's on Thanksgiving and not having any leftovers to eat for the next 3 days, so we're going to cook up lots of food so we can have lots of leftovers! :winkgrin |

Flying to New York for a couple days, just me and Eddie. Then on Thursday, Zac will be home and it will just be the three of us. Friday, I have eight people here (from Eddie's family) for Thanksgiving Dinner. All my family will be scattered across the country.

Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans
I will be cooking "Thanksgiving Dinner" for the family on Friday. ...Looks like Thanksgiving Day will be house cleaning day and preparation day since I am not planning to take off work Wednesday.
I am so blessed to have a family for which to prepare dinner and the strength to prepare it. |
Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans
We don't believe in Thanksgiving, due to its pagan origins.
Oh. Wait. Am I getting it confused with something else? |
Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans
I will take no chances with this hooliday.
With Chritmas and Easter being proclaimed as evel by us holiness foks, well I am pretty sure there is something pagan about giving thanks. Gotta be bad origens somewhere. Anything that brings families together gottta have bad in it somewheres I'd rather errror on the side of saftey. Glory be. |

I figured we would just dress a turkey up in gold and silver and dance around it while humming Inca styled musical beats.

Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans
We always spend Thanksgiving with my FIL in Austin. I normally take care of the Turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and some type of dessert.
My FIL brings in the Elgin Sausage. They can't have a holiday without it. My SIL brings her Stove Top stuffing mix and makes it separate. :toofunny One BIL always brings the pecan pies. He loves baking them. LOL! This is a cute Thanksgiving greeting. I extend it to all AFF members! :friend http://www.jacquielawson.com/viewcar...ode=HY27482779 |
