We have Thanksgiving gathering at my sister's home tomorrow (Sun.), then on Thanksgiving day we are off to St. Louis to be with my wife's family.

Walking. I'll leave the apartment around 5:30am and be back by 2 pm. I'll crash and burn after that and then try to tidy things up and prepare for having a friend over the next day.

(I work on Thanksgiving day...time and a half when you work fast food means a lot)

If you go to Tahoe make sure you look me up. My wife and three kids and I will e at the gigantic buffet at the top of Harrah's. Saw Vaughn Morton there one Thanksgiving eating with his ex-wife and her husband. That was a hoot! Last year I sat next to an All-Pro NFL player. He was bigger than the buffet! :)

Hope there's snow up there.

We'll do the 8:00 AM church service and then drive up there. It's an annual tradition for us.

Just going to cracker barrel... 1 mile down the road. My daughter works there and has to work Thanksgiving day, so we are going to go when she gets off and spend some time together. My sisters will probably join us.

We will have Thanksgiving with hubby's family today, and then with my family on Thursday, early afternoon. After that we will go to Sis. Truthseeker's and have a second dinner with them. Harmony may be joining us as well.

I told STS that I'm tired of going to other's on Thanksgiving and not having any leftovers to eat for the next 3 days, so we're going to cook up lots of food so we can have lots of leftovers! :winkgrin

Will just be me and my husband and youngest daughter, no big meal. We will combine Thanksgiving and Christmas on the 14th of Dec. with all the kids and their families. May even have some of my husbands relatives as well. May y'all be blessed this upcoming Thanksgiving.

I am sure my husband will be watching football.

Parents, in-laws and siblings all coming to my home for the 2pm feast.

Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans

Everybody will be coming to our house for Thanksgiving - and I do mean everybody!

Walt, me, Justin and Keith
My sister Chickie, her husband Richard and kids, Amber and Rick
My brother Thunder and his two girls, Kristen and Chelsea, along with Kristen's boyfriend Zack and maybe his baby
My brother Rinny, his wife Jacky and their daughter Jenna and her fiance Alex
My sister Sally, her husband Charles and their daughter Cara
My Mom
Walt's brother Doug
and on top of that, Amber's friend lost her fiance this week. She's not up to celebrating this year. So Amber is bringing her 4 children (ages 9, 7, 7 and 5)

We do a huge potluck. Adn then all go bowling.

Anybody want to join us?

Flying to New York for a couple days, just me and Eddie. Then on Thursday, Zac will be home and it will just be the three of us. Friday, I have eight people here (from Eddie's family) for Thanksgiving Dinner. All my family will be scattered across the country.

Re: Your Thanksgiving Plans

I will be cooking "Thanksgiving Dinner" for the family on Friday. ...Looks like Thanksgiving Day will be house cleaning day and preparation day since I am not planning to take off work Wednesday.

I am so blessed to have a family for which to prepare dinner and the strength to prepare it.

We don't believe in Thanksgiving, due to its pagan origins.

Oh. Wait. Am I getting it confused with something else?

Timmy, you are good boy, I can tell by your holiness stance on celebrating anything.

You hold fast in the traditons as they have been taught to you by old people.

Hey, Holinesswoman, turn on Spell Check. All of us make mistakes from time to time.

This is not how the Grinch Stole Christmas or Ebeneezer Scrooge. This is how the HolinessWoman is stealing the Joy of Thanksgiving. :crazy :club

We're going to Jackson Hole, WY. We're meeting some friends and some of their family.

Us guys are going elk hunting in the morning, then dinner.

Come back home on Sat. to get ready for church.

We always spend Thanksgiving with my FIL in Austin. I normally take care of the Turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and some type of dessert.

My FIL brings in the Elgin Sausage. They can't have a holiday without it.

My SIL brings her Stove Top stuffing mix and makes it separate. :toofunny

One BIL always brings the pecan pies. He loves baking them. LOL!

This is a cute Thanksgiving greeting. I extend it to all AFF members! :friend
