533,000

jobs lost in the November, the worst in 34 years. 2,000,000 jobs lost so far this year, and we have a month to go. 10% of ALL mortgages in the US are being affected by the money crunch. And according to the old and incoming administrations it's going to get worse.

On an up note, Bush finally admitted today that we're in a recession. That probably means we're out of it already and just don't know it yet since whatever he says is normally the opposite of reality. Does that mean he's a leading or a lagging indicator? :santathumb

Bush also announced today that peace in the Middle East will not be accomplished by the end of his term. OMG! Really?!

He's a master of stating the obvious. Kind of reminds me in that regard. :)

Yeah, I'm the same way. Love thrift stores!! It's like a treasure hunt! And yard sales and auctions and estate sales!

I love it so much I'm gonna start a new business/ministry around the idea.

I figured the bball shoes would go with your thick hose and jean skirts. general conference will be here sooner than you think! :)

At least he dealt with the pressure of being the president for eight years. You could've done better eh?

Well, not quite eight years. He's pretty much checked out about two or three months early. Perhaps he should try some more hands on governing during this crisis instead of making trips overseas and giving 18 exit interviews a day musing about his legacy.
