The Early Years...
 

Since there are several "remember when" threads popping up, thought it might be fun to post some pictures from our early years. This is the earliest known picture of me in existance. I was #5 of 5 kids. By the time I came along, Mom and Dad had no interest in getting baby pictures made of me. Please excuse my nekkid elbow, knobby knees and low cut shirt. I was quite the liberal in my 4th year.

I was born December 6, 1937.

The first picture was taken in July 1938.

The second picture was taken in August 1940. I am on my Dad's lap.

I don't know the date of the third picture.

I noticed that, I had a gap between my teeth until I was grown. I hated to smile.
And those ringlet curls and cute little dresses. I was a tomboy. Imagine that.:christmoose
