I need help people!! I need for you guys to pump me up, encourage me that I can make it through this day. :sos

I feel like I am getting a sinus infection, I have been dealing with sciatica for the last week (oh my word, PAIN) and I am in the middle of making up 150 cookie bags for the church to give away tonight, at a graduation ceremony for a parenting class that the High School across the street has been giving. :tissue

I want to throw these cookies and the ground and stomp on them, which would probably be counter-productive... And the stinkin church phone lines wont stop ringing, my mom keeps calling on my cell with different assignments... I'm losin it people! :pullhair :ranting :girlytantrum

You can make it... hang in there!

If the phone ringing is stressing you out, lay it off the hook for 15 minutes once an hour to give yourself time for a break.

I don't know what else I can do... but I will pray for extra strength and healing for you.

Well, Sister, I don't know if this will help you or not, but, almost a year ago, it sure helped me. Its from a little book we recieved in the mail last January. A sister from, I believe, California sent it to us. The Title of the book is "God's Promises to a Womans Heart" by Jane L. Frayer.

"Rest" Chapter 13, Page 30-

Yes, Sis Falla, and Sister Diz knows why I sent her this verse from this particular book. She sent it to Lola just before Lola left us. I read every word of this book to Lola. It gave her such comfort. The book has a matching pen with it, and Lola wanted me to hand her the pen one day with a piece of paper. She tried her best to write her name with it just because "that lady in California was sweet enough to send it to me". Thats the one and only time that pen was ever written with...or ever will be. I'll cherish that book, pen and scrap of paper. Just wanted Sis Diz to know how she helped us to find rest when we really needed it!

I just want you all to know that prayer works!! I know that some of you prayed for me this afternoon, I promise that after I posted this thread, the phone probably only rang 4 or 5 more times the entire day!!! And my mom only called me one more time! And I got the cookie bags done without stomping or eating any of them!! :shockamoo

I know that there are those times when I get down on myself and feel like I haven't accomplished much in my life, and then I stop and think "hey, I have a really great kid, I must have done something right"!
