I was wondering why the Secret Service didn't whisk those shoes out of the room, first thing. Seems they just left them there behind the Pres, and they didn't usher him out, either. I have a feeling there were some procedural errors!

Good reflexes. It was funny how he recognized that the second one didn't have a chance so he really didn't even move. I noticed that at :15, he waved off his Secret Service agent who was coming to him to probably do something really dramatic. All in all, I'm probably more impressed with his handling of this than anything else in a while. :)

If that was me up there and that shoe was thrown at me and I was fixing to leave office I would of handled buisness myself I would of waved off secreat service and said I got this and went down to the guy and showed him you don't mess with Texas.... that was so disrepectful.

What would be a similar “insult” in this country? Anybody know? I don’t. In this country, we used to assassinate our Presidents when they got out of line, but that hasn’t happened here in a while.

Here, we just pander to them and keep on pretending that they’re leading us someplace other then hell.
