My AFF Christmas Wish List

Dear (Fictional character most often associated with Chritmas who allegedly hails from the North Pole and rides on an imaginary sleigh bringin gifts to children everywhere that were actually purchased by their parents:)

I've tried to be good this year. I really have. Just hope you weren't watching the day I hit my thumb with a hammer. I tried to be good and really think I deserve an "A" for effort. But... like in school, I'll settle for a "C".

So... here is my AFF Christmas Wish list:

I wish....

1. I could spend one hour listening to Apprehended talk about the Lord.

2. I wish Heavenly One could get her computer fixed so she can make it
to 10,000 posts.

3. I wish I could hear Michael Phelps preach. (Not the swimmer dude, the brother in Nebraska).

4. I wish I had a CD of St Mark playin the organ. (Old hymns!)

5. I wish I could be there to watch Pastor Keith baptize some people in the Pacific Ocean (that would be so cool!)

6. I wish I could write a book. (A #1 Best Seller!) I would write about Bro. and Sis Alvear.

7. I wish I had some of Cindy's fudge. (I know...its fattening. Who cares?) And Pressing Ons coffee.

8. I wish I could sit on Sis Fallas front porch and drink sweet tea and watch the Texas sun go down.

9. I wish Three steppers would quit steppin on one steppers (And visa versa).

10. I wish the UPC, the WPF, the ALJC and all Jesus Name groups would get together for one great big Campmeeting. At my house.

11. I wish we would all read Jesus' prayer in John 17, and I wish we would all get together and pray that prayer together. And mean it.

12. I wish I could wash Bro. Epleys feet. (No, really, I wish I could).

13. I wish Bro. Raven would post more.

14. I wish we'd say Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luk 2:14 everyday, instead of just at Christmas.

15.. And I wish the rest of my wishes for AFF would come true.

Now...whats YOUR AFF wishes?

Re: My AFF Christmas Wish List

Great thread!

My wish list:

1. I wish I had enough money to help those in need on AFF.

2. I wish I could meet everyone that would want to meet me.

3. I wish the ones that only post to cause a ruckus would get another hobby.

4. I wish the naysays would stop saying nay.

5. I wish that everyone could understand the unconditional love that Sis. Alvear and Sis. Falla show to others.

6. I wish that LCS would get her tree completed.

7. I wish that posting burned calories.

8. I wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas!

I wish someone would compile all your wonderful posts and get them published. And I wish above all, that our love of Jesus would unite us in sharing the gospel to a lost world. Amen!

Re: My AFF Christmas Wish List

I wish I could take all the heartache in the world away.

I wish I could be a better nurse.

I wish that my kids would stop growing up and getting older.

I wish I could meet everyone on this forum before we go to heaven.

I wish everyone would have someone make them laugh like I had someone make me laugh today.

I wish my dog would quit eating the cat's food, especially since he's supposed to be on special food that's expensive.

I wish I were as smart as my daughter. Don't tell her I said this.

I wish I had money to send Sis. Alvear. I wish I had money to send stuff to Sis. Alvear that I have in my living room! LOL!

I wish I was a fun mom like LCS.

I wish I could copy all of the posts that OneAccord, Newman, Sis. Alvear, ForeverBlessed, and several others that I can't think of at the moment ever posted.

I wish that disc would arrive...you know the one I mean.

I wish the conservatives that left this forum would come back.

I wish I could be a kinder poster.

I wish that everyone would have a wonderful Christmas, even those that don't want to acknowledge it. It's a wonderful time of year, regardless your beliefs.

I wish that I could meet all my AFF friends.

Re: My AFF Christmas Wish List

I wish that my friends here on AFF could really know just how very important they are to me.

I wish that we could have a big huge AFF meeting somewhere and that everyone would be able to come for it. I want to meet everyone!

I wish that we all had enough money to be able to support Sis. Alvear so that she could focus on winning souls and not have to worry about where her next dollar is going to come from.

I wish that Ferd's baby boy would be completely healed.

I wish that if we have to have snow, we could at least not have to have it on the roads. Covering the grass is ok. Not good. But ok. But covering the roads and making them slick - NOT.

I wish that we could figure out how to help Keith to focus more in school and bring his grades up.

I wish that I could go to Fairhope, Alabama to visit my cousins so that I could stop on the way to meet OneAccord and then meet Scott when I got there.

I don't wish material blessings for my AFF friends. Except for those who truly need those material blessings. But I do wish for all of us that 2009 will be a year of greater depth in our walks with the Lord and that we will learn from each other, lean on one another and grow together in God.

Margie thats beautiful! I was in Chattanooga the other day and thought of you and Walt. So heres my AFF Christmas Wish for you and Walt-

I wish Margie and Walt would come to Fairhope, Alabama to visit her cousins and would stop by so I could take them to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Musem in Chattannoga. Walt would like that.

And I wish I could spell "museum" without having to look it up.

You got that right! Walt would LOVE to come to see the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. We've talked about going to Chattanooga sometime. Maybe for our 25th anniversary we will.

Well. I'm about 30 minutes from the museum (I did it) and if you go there without me, I'll tie ya to the tracks! I'll take ya on a Silver Wedding Anniversary cruise on the Southern Belle, too! Hows that for Southern Hospitality!

That would be so cool!! Sadly tho, our 25th isn't until 2010. So we've got a while to plan this adventure.

Just tell him like most wives do..."Walt, I have decided you want to go to Chattannoga this summer!" then, pack his glad rags and y'all git down here. Its that simple. I'll be looking for ya, and as Ol' Tom Burnette says, "We'll leave the light on for ya!"

I wish I could see all my AFF friends in person someday. (soon)
I wish I could visit every country in the world, and visit Africa about four times a year.
I wish I had a million dollars to send to missions.
I wish our church was paid off and the new building would go up debt free!
I wish I was personally debt free!!!!
I wish we would baptize two more people before the end of the year, to make our goal of 100 for 2008.
I wish Bro. Scott was pastoring a church, as it's his heart's desire.
I wish some young talented gal would sweep St. Mark off his feet.
I wish Baby Jack was completely whole.
I wish Nahkoe never had another financial worry.
I wish One Accord would write a book about his life.
I wish Renda lived next door - that house is now vacant!
I wish I could visit Amazing Grace's church's African service.
I wish Bro.Epley would be a little more conservative (NOT!!!).
I wish Margie would come through Tennessee.
I wish S. Hoover would do a TV sequel - the rest of the story.
I wish I totally understood the godhead.
