That's what we have become by bailing out these companies...now there is talk of bailing out Newspapers

Newspapers should not be bailed out. They are not a neccesity to our economy. We would not bail out the Enquirer would we ? Thats all the newspapers have become, op-eds that divert wildly from the truth.

We shouldn't have bailed out anyone.

And yes, I know how painful that would have become, in a hurry.

Things need to adjust, they're a mess. The longer we prolong this, the more painful it's going to be when it finally all falls apart.

Now. Where can I apply for my personal bail out? lol As long as they're giving out free money...can I get some too?

We may need the newspaper though if there are any gas shortages to light fires in the fire place

nope , but Im cool with that. He was gonna repeal the tax cuts to pay the stimulus checks....now he is gonna keep the tax cuts... seems Bush wasnt so far off after all . :coffee2

Most of the people who will be receiving stimulas checks are those who aren't even paying taxes.

according to him 250,000..but that may have changed.

thing is his stimulus checks were going to people who "really" dont need it. I am one of those recepients. Oh it would be nice, but it would not save me from anything or turn my situation around. And its not enough to do anything, most are so ignorant of economics that they would sit on it in case they fell on hard times. I have talked to a few of those. We are where we are because 10 to 12 years ago americans, from low income to upper income, got "credit happy". Plain and simple. Stimulus checks will help no one if there are no jobs. That is what the government needs to work on stimulating.

true , but i do not make no where near that much, it would be nice but it will take me a long time to make that kind of money unless the Lord made a way, lol
