this is where it all started. No we did not set up a buffet line. This is the only food shot you all get. =)

The youth leaders
Absolutely the best couple ever. They have worked wonders with this group of kids.

Looks like a great group of folks! I'm glad you have such awesome youth leaders. That can make or break a church, I think!

The Murrillo's are wonderful. They just married a year ago. Dated on and off for several years but finally took the step. They know what it is like to have been kids. Sam was put through hell with church leaders when he was a teen. His story is one of inspiration. I think that it prepared him for his roll today. The young people love and respect them. Sam's grandfather was one of the most respected men in the AA.

Yes Scott it is an AA work. Our pastor is not all tied up in politics. Thank God. Even my "UPC" sister and her husband love this group. But then my sister isn't hung up on a lot of ultra conservative ideas that are not of God.

Thanks Jeanie, we think they are nice looking too. =)

We did not do a buffet line so any food pics is not a good representation.

I will tell you the menu.

We had cottage pie, spinach chicken lasagna, green beans, corn, salad, garlic bread, banana split delight, and chocolate pudding delight.

besides no one really took any pictures while we dished up the food, anyway, they were all busy eating it. =)

Oh, I love chicken lasagna. Never had it with spinach though. It all sounds delicious.:)

BTW I lost 6 pounds in the last few months. But, as long as I'm over 100 lbs my doctor is happy. So I need some good food!!!!!!

There are a few of us that wish we had your problem with weight. =)

eat lots of fat and sweets that will bring your weight up. =)

Ice Cream meets both of those.
Now that would be a diet.

Not a big ice cream lover. Although Blue Bell Coffee flavored is scrumptious.
I don't eat many fried foods either. Except Black Angus Beef Burgers............Yummy!!!!!! Can you tell I live in Texas? :)
