NEWS FLASH! Meeting between Steve Munsey and Jack Nickelson
THIS JUST IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Over the past couple weeks, a major movie, 300, has hit theaters across the nation. Jack Nickelson was speaking to the director of 300 and was stating that he (Nickelson) has been trying to get a movie together about Napolean. However, he (Nickelson) did not want a major star to play the role...but an unknown, Hollywood person. The director said...I have just the man for you. His name is Steve Munsey. Nickelson was interested and wanted to have a meeting. Nickelson attended the first day of the Master's and, by coincidence, Steve Munsey was also scheduled to attend. A meeting is being planned between the two men to further talk about Steve Munsey and his role in the soon-to-be movie production of Napolean (with Munsey as the lead role). Should be very, very interesting. |

Speaking of the Masters, my son-in-law had tickets to the Masters and invited a couple of his friends to go with him! I told him that if he doesn't invite me next year, I'm going to dis-own him!!!!! hahahaha! |
Hmmmmmm.....I wonder if he really could play the part and get into character? :happydance
|
Does this mean that Jack is "looking our way"???
|
"I want the TRUTH!"

April Fools day has already gone by!!!!
This is one of the funniest things I have ever read. |
You gotta admit the possibilities are hilarious.
Napoleon (Munsey) stands stoically, hand tucked inside his tunic. With a grim look towards his troops, he raises his voice for all to hear..... "Go to your phones! Go now!" :slaphappy |

LOL! I can actually see him being a pretty decent Napoleon - at least they'll have to clip that rug a bit. |

I could see Steve Munsey as George Custer but not Napolean... :slaphappy

Custer (Munsey) stands looking at the approaching tribe of renegade Indians. He realizes time is short and his words must be inspiring to his soon to be slaughtered troops. Valiantly he lifts his voice and tells them... "Go to your phones! Go now!" :slaphappy |

Hoffa/Munsey is surrounded by mob bosses telling him his days are numbered. He looks at the rough and tough Teamsters gathered nearby. Realizing this may be the last words he ever speaks to them he seeks to make a lasting impression. Fiery eyed, he looks at them and bellows out... "Go to your phones! Go now!":slaphappy |

I also see him as Danny DeVito........ In his View form! |
Some folks have aged gracefully. Steve is not one of them.
|
It would be impossible for me to care less about anything than the complete and total lack of interest I have in a meeting between a backslid former Apostolic and some Hollywood movie star.
If you get all giddy about this, enjoy yourself. It doesn't do a thing fo rme.:) I will say that rrford's posts have been hilarious though.:) |

They should call me for that part. :D

I think Coonskinner is in line to play Jed Clampit in a new Beveryly Hillbilly movie.

He's a joke, himself, so it shouldn't bother him to think his "Go to the phones mantra is seen as funny. RRFord... thanks for the laughs! |

Means Nothing as I dont even know who Steve Munsey is. BTW, Who is Steve?

What's the inside joke concerning rrford's ridicule? Man, I am out of the loop. Also, steadfast's comments were pretty out there and harsh for him to say so publically being that he's (steadfast) a well known evangalist and all...so whatever SM did must have been bad/kooky! |
What I really want to know is:
ARE EITHER OF THEM LOOKING OUR WAY??? |
I thought Jack N. was meeting SM for the lead role in THE DEPARTED; the Sequel! :tiphat

WHO CARES??? A Sinner and a Backslidden Man who loves Money.... go figure??? |

I wish them no evil. Hope they both come to the deep relationship with Savior that He'd like to have with them. Other than that it's no skin off my nose what they do. |

He was one of the most popular UPC evangelists in the 1970's. He almost singlehandedly brought the idea of Bus Ministry into the UPC. He set up the Bus Ministry at many of the larger UPC churches with these churches literally bringing hundreds of unchurched children to church each Sunday. He was famous for decorating the buses in wild ways and all kinds of promotional ideas to appeal to unchurched kids He probably gained even greater fame in the UPC by speaheading the "Big Drama" movement at several of the larger churches. These large scale productions with professional production values far beyond anything attempted before in a UPC church or pretty much any church for that matter was the forerunner of dramas like POA's "Messiah" Steve Munsey was known for unbelieable energy, creative ideas, and being audacious. In reality I am sure he is ADD if anybody in the world is. At some point whiel still a young man he left the UPC and truly did "go charismatic" as UPC folks so love to call folks who leave the Ark. He has pastored a church in the Chicago area for many years now and I know very little about it. He appears on TBN and other Christian television networks pretty often. It was him acting as a snake oil salesman during a telethon for some Christian TV network I had never heard of that I posted about seeing while on biz in NC. It was a disgusting display and I was deeply grieved. He was the absolute worst of the prosperity gospel on display trying to pry money out of the elderly, sick, and poor. |
