What situations would lead you to recommend a couple divorce?

If a man or woman lusts after another than their spouse it is adultery.

Abuse can be anything from verbal, emotional, or physical abuse.

However in some cases divorce is not always the right thing to do.

What constitutes adultery? I believe if one partner commits adultery it doesn't mean an instant divorce. If the couples is willing to forgive and not do that anymore, they should be able to stay together.

If one of the parties is unwilling to work it out or doesn't want to give up "the other person", then I believe that other party is free to divorce.

Adultery - when your affections are toward another you are not married to.

Abuse - can be verbal or physical. This would depend on how much a person can take and stay sane.

My sister's husband committed adultery and she is wanting to make it work for them. He refuses counseling. I think she is miserable. I feel very sorry for her. Of course, it didn't help that no one in the family has ever liked him. lol

I have recommended separation to people more than once. Sometimes people need some space to see if they are willing to work on a marriage. I HATE DIVORCE, but sometimes it's inevitable.

Not to hijack the thread - but I HATE shopping with my husband. When we grocery shop he has to have everything situated in a certain place in the shopping cart!!!!!!! "That doesn't go there. Everything has a place." Arghhhhhhh!

I understand the bread being separate from anything heavy. And eggs are so fragile. And some meat packages leak. Other than that what's the problem?

Divorce? I think it would be unfaithfulness (adultery) & vilolence that would be grounds.
