A Churches Website

I stumbled across one of our Churches web sites and was tickled to see the way they set up thier web site (looks good) one page in particular stands out.

I love the transportation choices!!!

There was an article a year or two ago in the local paper here in Nashville about an Apostolic church who has one or two limo's they will pick visitors up for church in.

A really "upscale" bus ministry!!

Is it still in use there?

I don't know. It is not a UPC church but one of those little Oneness Orgs. I think they may be the spiritual communion folks. I think it may have been the church that Jim Yohe's daughter was going to a few years ago.

The typos are less clever!!!

My personal opinion is the hearse thingy is somewhat corny.

Haha. Yeah, I guess so. Now let's see if it wins some souls. :)

My Pastor wants to buy a limo for transportation. We're in the process of buying a couple buses and he said he also wanted to get a limo.

That would be cool. "Come to church in class".

chaotic_resolve 04-06-2007 01:46 PM

He wants to use it to pick up kids and other guests in the low-income areas around our church.

The Limo could be used to take the pastor to fellowship meetings, camp meetings and conferences! :D

With the cost of a van being huge now, a limo may be more affordable, and if you rented it out it could even pay for itself!

Now a hearse is another matter....

Ron 04-06-2007 02:17 PM

At the price of Gas nowadays giving money for Bus Fare seems more economical.

You have more than one church with more than one website and all these churches also share one website?

It is just one Church it is their schedule page that you are looking at.

I knew that's what you meant even if it wasn't what you said; but since I don't like people trying to read the empty spaces between the lines I write, I was trying not to do that to you.

There's still one that does...

It's an ALJC church that my brother's wife parents attend. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the church at the moment though....

*It was bugging me... I called my brother and asked the name of the church. This is it:

So, their church is called New Life also? So is the church I attend, except that the one I attend is New Life Assembly of God (http://www.newlifeassemblyonline.com/).

No, he loves his Mustang. If given the choice between his Mustang and a Limo - I'm pretty sure he'd take the Mustang. :D

StillStanding 04-06-2007 03:49 PM

This thread reminds me about visiting my sister who's husband (at the time!) owned a Limo service. They took us everywhere in a limo, including when we wanted to visit the local UPC church service!

I think the folks at the church that night thought we were rich or something! :slaphappy

I have heard this term used recently after a church communion service. What is SPIRITUAL COMMUNION?

Does anyone know the origin of this doctrine and how is it refuted?

This movement is a joke it is an umbrella for:
Adam doctrine
Spiritual Communion doctrine
Divine Flesh doctrine
that was founded by a man who taught 2 in the Godhead and the secretary believed the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
