No More Walls blog show seeks Apostolic Unity
A new apostolic website and call-in talk show has been launched.
According to the talk show host, J. T. Wheeler, NO MORE WALLS is an apostolic effort to emphasize unity among the Body of Christ as a whole regardless of organizational or fellowship association. The show features interviews of prominent men and women of God with proven ministries that are effectively advancing the Kingdom of God. Past guests include Dr. David K. Bernard (UPCI), Bishop Robert Martin, General Superintendent (ALJC), Pastor Jeff W. Arnold (UPCI). NO MORE WALLS is a call in conference call with a talk show format. Listeners are able to call in during the interview and participate in the interview along with J. T. Wheeler and his guest. By featuring ministers with national and international reputations the broadcast offers people and other ministers a forum wherewith to connect with those actively building Christ’s kingdom, and according to the host, ”hopefully glean from their wisdom and experience. “ Currently, shows are broadcasting LIVE on Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. central time. All shows are recorded, and those who miss the live broadcast can visit the official website for archived shows in the MEDIA tab of the site. Callers and listeners and participate by calling: Dial: 712-432-3900 ID: 2975058 http://www.nomorewallsonline.com Source: www.apostolicreport.com ----------------------------------- Today's show: Today our very special guest is the exciting and dynamic Pastor Jeff Arnold. Bro. Arnold is a bold, energetic, and humorous gift to the body of Christ, and he will be spending an entire hour talking to us today about his life, ministry, family, and church. Re: No More Walls blog show seeks Apostolic Unity
Wheeler is UPC now, or what? Didn't he used to be one of those clerical collar clergy people when he was a little younger? He used to be one of Bill's boys, back in the day.

Re: No More Walls blog show seeks Apostolic Unity
Well, he is licensed with the UPC. Wonder when that happened?

Re: No More Walls blog show seeks Apostolic Unity
Speaking of Bill, thought you might want to know that he's once against Trinitarian with a few other flavors in the mix, but it's ok. As of Feb 3rd, he's truly saved.

Re: No More Walls blog show seeks Apostolic Unity
Dan,
Thanks for posting this site. In answer to your question on another thread, I was listening to the interview with David Bernard. About half way through when he's discussion church planting, he said that he uses people who come regularly in some capacity (not leadership) even if they haven't been baptized. He didn't specify water or Spirit (my guess is Spirit). He likes to get them involved early so they feel like they are a part of the church. Quote:

I got a kick out ... of him ... beginning .... his response to you admitting he lives in a time warp that has him still living in the 1950's and 1960's.

Re: No More Walls blog show seeks Apostolic Unity
I love the last bastion that Old Time Pentecost ..... is holding to ...
He says (paraphrasing) if "We go to heaven and ladies you find out you could of worn this and cut that and painted this .... it will be okay ...but if you find out we couldn't .... you'll hate me the entire time we're in hell ..." Let's scratch adding to the Word ... biblical hermeneutics ... rightly dividing the Word ... presenting and teaching sound doctrine .... just take my word for it ... maybe I'm wrong but you're in ... DOES TRUTH MATTER ANYMORE? |
Re: No More Walls blog show seeks Apostolic Unity
Did he really say we get the Holy Ghost on credit?

Rather sounds like something he has memorized over the years and that is how he has resolved the issue. but....is it really the right answer indeed. |

Most of all, IMO it's a scare tactic used to manipulate and maintain a network. It also eliminates any honest debate .... It's simply... I am doing this for your own good ... thank me for it. We are left with the thought that ETERNITY hangs in the balance if I wear a pair of knee-length shorts or don't shave my God-given beard. Also ... It's rooted in fear ... I've got friends who now resort to this line of defense .... knowing that leaving the message would mean being in the untenable position of being in unchartered waters. One openly told me ... who would he preach for? |

Actually when you think of it, the word itself contradicts that fear- ...prefect love cast out fear. I guess I have just realized with men of his generation that is the way they are going to do it or say it. Someone who would come under ministry would just have to abide by what he says- some of us have no problem with that-but not all people are settled with the it's my way or the high way of pastoring. Although I feel there are alot of things the JA is right on about-he is good at confronting attitudes, he is good at being honest with alot of the fault of the UPC. |
Re: No More Walls blog show seeks Apostolic Unity
Listening to it right now, Love it, Love it. Jeff Arnold says you have to discern between who is nuts and who isn't. That is the question of the day.
Who would you consider to be nuts when it comes to standards? |
