You can't pillage the money & goods & have it continue on forever.

Obama has not been the messenger of hope that everybody voted for. He has been the messenger of gloom and despair.

His strategy is for the American people to have low expectations of him. I think it's working, because my expectations of him are pretty low at the moment! :lol

That's ridiculous sensationalism that comes from someone who obviously disagrees with his politics. If you disagree with him, fine. Disagreeing is vital and healthy in a democracy.

Calling him a "loser" and actually asserting that he "wants" America to go up in flames is fanatical and delusional. It's prepostorous for you, or anyone else, to claim that the man actually desires the demise of America.

The other day he actually said that we "might never recover" unless he got his way on the stimlus pork.

Ed, Ive been kicking this around some and all I can figure (besides you being 100% correct), is that Obama is using this recession to get some ideologically uber liberal things past, well knowing that they wont do a blessed thing to help the economy.

I suspect his gamble is that he has time to get the country on a pretty hard left path, then in 2 years start to creat policy that will turn the economy in time for the 2012 election.


Least we forget, his chief of staf said last year to never let a crisis go to waste.

I firmly believe he wants the demise of what America IS.

He wants an America that is molded in the Uber Liberal FDR facism of the 1930's. He hates what happened to America in the 1980s under RR.

He seeks to reshape America into a top down state. and for guys like Ed and I, that is exactly "America going up in flames"
