There is a slide presentation about Africa I wold like to copy but I am computer dumb and I don´t even know if it is possible or legal?
Can someone come to my rescue?

I think that if you update to the latest version of Real Player (for free), you can download and save youtube videos.

You can use a number of online services where you copy the link to the video, paste it at the website, put your email. Then they download and convert it to the format you need. If you just download the video as it is from Youtube you will need a special .flv player.

Try these two, convert to Mpg or AVI, unless it has a WMV option too. Those should work on most or all windows systems. If you have quick time use .Mov if you like

www.mediaconverter.org is easy to use. You just copy and paste the url of the video you want, and you can save it as a .wmv (Windows' Media file) or .mpg. (among others)

If you need a step-by-step, here it is:

Click on the link above.

In Step 1, copy in the url of the video; don't change any settings;

Click on Next Step;

Select the file type that you want your video saved as. I like to save as .wmv.

If you want to, check the box next to "save as default setting."

Click on Next Step;

On this page, don't change any settings, just again check the box next to "save as default setting."

Click on Next Step;

After the file finishes downloading (can take a bit depending on your connection), click on the "Download Now" button and save the file to your computer.
