Well, slip of the tongue or not he's got to realize that EVERYONE from all groups are paying attention and as Prez you just can't do that stuff.

We all say things we regret, I think his apology was sufficient.

In opinion there is so much more weighty matters that we are facing, no one is prefect, and think it was just a lame attempt at poking fun at himself and in no regards to miminize the disabled.

The news just has a way of making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Like he insulted Nancy Reagan. This is a flippant, trashy pattern. It is one of the reasons thy push him to not leave the teleprompter.

Of course the audacity of telling vets they were not worth their efforts and could pay their own way tell us he is for real. This is called a head trip. Narcissism is hard to cure.

We blame the news. Like they say, If President Bush had done this, it would have beeen 10 times alrger. Of course the media let him slide. He gave the PM of UK some DVD's last week that won't work on a UK DVD player. Then a gift to a child was a 3 dollar blister pack dollar General toy.

That they do, but really no one should even say anything like that. Just put yourself in the shoes of a mom of a child with special needs. Would you enjoying hearing anyone use that as a way to poke fun at themselves?

He could have said, "I stink at bowling", we'd got he was making fun of himself.

We all know that he didn't say it to intentionally make fun of special needs kids.

Now that is something to get in an uproar about indeed, I am glad his effords to twart aid to wounded vets was short lived.

Several parts to that. He is not a thinker. talks and then he spins. Vets are going to have to cheat to get insurance coverage to pay war wounds that are excluded from their plan.

The other part was him trashing pres Bush and saying it was so shameful how poorly we take care of our vets and then flip flop and stab them in the back?

Exactly, it's the spirit in which he said it, he wasn't being vindictive.

He is a new president and will definitely be more careful about how he choses his words, perhaps now he can relate to why Bush would stammer frequently-he was trying not to offend anyone.

I guess I wouldn't know how I would respond if I had a child who participated in S.O., Keith works with some children who do, but I guess I am putting myself in Obama's shoes, of being misunderstood and using the wrong phrase because he was trying to be funny.

I am more worried about his policies than his faux pas I guess. Some things are worth getting upset about, for me this isn't one. I know that there are enough people out there who will take up for me on this.

I am sure at some point he will realize that Bush didn't do such a bad job after all, and campaigning is not the same as leading a nation.

Well I also like to add, that if he continues about being caviler about his comments and controlling his ..oh I guess put downs then I think I would take bigger issue with it.

BARACK OBAMA’s half-brother has been refused entry to Britain after reportedly being accused of an attempted sex attack on a 13-year-old girl on his last visit.

Samson Obama, who runs a mobile phone shop in Nairobi in Kenya, was on his way to the president’s inauguration in January when he tried to stop over in Britain to visit relatives. Biometric tests carried out at East Midlands airport showed that he was linked to the attack on a girl in Berkshire last November but never charged, according to a report last night. Further checks identified Samson as the half-brother of President Obama, leading to a hurried call to the White House.

Looks like the false identity issure runs in the family.

Wonder why americans don't here this? we heard about President's bushs nieces' troubles.
