E-Cards...what do you think?

Has anyone ever used these or received one? If so, what do you think of them?

My "T" key is having issues...it's very hard to push and if you don't hit it just right, it won't type the letter. So sorry about the title....maybe admin will fix it.

The reason I asked is that someone sent me one and I thought they were cute and made me kinda feel good that someone would do something like that.

I like them- I love opening my email and finding that someone thought enough of me to send me a card.

When my husband worked in an office we used to send these to each other regularly. It is nice to know someone is thinking of you, plus you can usually add a personal note to them.

As long as they're FREE! I love 'em. I couldn't believe it when Blue Mountain sold out for over $1 BILLION doallars several years ago. I felt so stupid for not having an idea like that back in the day.

Now, so many make you (the sender) jump through hoops just to send what amounts to an advertisement to a loved one. I "make" my own just with an email and clip art most times. But the "professional" ones can be great too.

I never open them anymore. Concerned they may have a virus.

Always kind of thought they were a little lame, but it looks as though I am in the minority here.

I love e-cards--just for fun. I like getting them from casual friends and acquaintances. But, from close friends and immediate family, I do NOT like receiving an e-card instead of a real card. However, it's better than nothing I suppose. :D

I like sending and receiving cards in the mail, with hand-written notes inside. It just means more, IMO.

Just for a fun, no reason, "I love you" or "Have a great day", I think they're perfectly fine.

I think they're fun and can be used to brighten someone's day. ( mine!)

They should not be the "only" card used for relatives but can be part of the effort to stay in touch, imo.

Re: E-Cards...what do you think?

The thing I like best about them is that often you can send them for free. I hate spending $5.00 and more for a piece of paper to send to someone. And I hate even more when they spend that much money on cards for me. The thing with paper cards is that most of the time, people just end up throwing them away anyhow. So what a waste!

I think e-cards are neat.

I enjoy getting them and I enjoy sending them.
