Some business circumstances have been up in the air that could affect my employment. Those circunstances resolved themselves today in a way that makes me almost certain I will not have a job in a couple of months.

I should know a little more in a couple of days. It is just about the worst economic climate ever to be looking for a job so that is the worrisome thing.

Nine months ago I was turning down job offers but now the situation has changed. Please pray that God's will be done. I would love a miracle and to be able to continue my employment with my present company. They have great benefits and I am grandfathered in with both a pension plan and a 401K. That is rare today.

I am at the very high end of the pay range for my particular job so that makes it tough in these times! They can hire a kid out of college and pay him half what they pay me. I have a very specialized skill set that is now no longer needed as we lost the account I deal with.

Luckily Mr. Steinway has a very large house so I can go live with him! LOL!!!

Almost as important as me keeping my job is that my new responsiblities allow me to still be based out of the town where I live. For a time it looked like I was probably going to have to move to a city I don't want to move to in order to continue to work for my company at their Corporate HQ.

Everybody pray for strength for me as it looks like this might now be a 60+ hour week job!!!!
