Ghost?
Do you believe in ghost? As in haunted houses, haunted places, ghost ships, and so on. I always find the answers of church people interesting about this subject.....

There can definitely be a connection between people and a place. Whether that is caused by "spirits" or even some sort of Jungian thing that links our memories together, I don't know. I don't know of any way to even begin to evaluate it - except to discount some of the more extravangant claims. But even after you throw out the frauds, the entrepreneurial types wanting to make money off the grief of others and the down right wackos - there's still something that "haunts" us at times and in places. |

I agree...

Re: Ghost?
I believe in spirits but not ghosts. No I do not believe that my spirit stays behind and haunts things but I think that satan's henchmen get familiar with things in human lives and to get attention or to lead people astray they will use those familiarities to confuse and baffle people.
Whenever I hear people talk about ghosts they all seem to say the same thing. cold chills, hair on the back of my neck stood up, felt something cold, etc etc. Only time I ever felt that was in dealings with evil spirits. I never got chills or felt cold when I dealt with the Spirit of God. His Spirit always has felt warm and inviting. |

These guys are comedians & nailed it down pretty good!
Demons cause haunts, not human spirits. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfe1U...rom=PL&index=1 |

jax, you made a good point. Something I'll need to give some serious thought to. Thanks. |
Re: Ghost?
I don't believe that human spirits do any haunting or otherwise suspicious activities after death, but I DO believe that evil spirits (demons) take pleasure in tormenting humans, whether that's by impersonating their dead Grandpa or making things go bump in the night.

Re: Ghost?
I used to follow the standard line that all supernatural activity that wasn't directly attributable to God was demonic, until the last few years.
I have witnessed incidents and heard many others tell me theirs. My wife's mother died about 13 years about and woke up her sister "to say goodbye" at her home a few miles away. There are also some incredible stories from when my wife worked at a hospice. Then you have the different kinds of "haunts". Some of which seem to be very interactive and others which are like a tape recording playing over and over again. We really have no idea the nature of a human spirit when that person dies. |
Re: Ghost?
It there is a Holy Ghost then there must be an unholy ghost. I will say this that my mother died when my daughter was still 1 year old. There were things that my mother would always say and phrases she wuuld use. There is NO way that my daughter would know that. But my daughter uses many of them. Like she calls me Dadia and Amy Momia-that is what my mom called us when she was talking to Delaney. Often times she will be rattling things off like she is talking to people and you ask who she is talking about she says 'gram' which is what we called my mom. There are things that always happen and things my daughter says that come straight from my mom. I believe in those things now.
