Knee Surgery
Please keep my husband in prayer. He is having knee surgery this morning.
My daughter seems to be doing fine after her fainting spell the other night (we called 911 and they took her by ambulance to the hospital). But it is still scary. Please continue to keep her in prayer and for me that I may retain my sanity. Thank you. :) |

They did tests on my daughter and concluded she simply fainted. This happened to my son a couple of years ago at school.....he hasn't had one since. It is strange though and scary....so, I do appreciate the prayers anyway. :) |

She has since fainted 2-3 times (sometimes followed or preceded by nausea or vomiting), but the doctor can't find anything wrong. We have found out that she has to have protein for breakfast, and can't eat sugar in the morning, or she will get sick and dizzy very quickly. However, they did blood sugar tests, and that's normal as well. So I guess--it's just fainting! Sure does scare a mother, though!!!!!! |
Re: Knee Surgery
Thanks for the prayers. My husband seems to be doing very well.
My daughter is not feeling well. She is nauseous, tired and a bit dizzy. She insisted on going to classes today. She has her cell and can call if she needs to. |

She was practicing basketball a couple of months ago, and I looked up and noticed that her coach was telling her repeatedly to go to the right, and she couldn't understand him--she kept going to the left, and he was getting frustrated. She was also pale, and moving sluggishly. I called her off the court just in the nick of time--she had to sit down at the sidelines, and was nauseous for about 30 minutes. She was taking an anti-nausea medicine that's commonly prescribed for IBS, but I can't remember the name of it at the moment (she's out and threw the bottle away without telling me!) It did seem to help if she took it first thing in the morning or if she started feeling nauseous. Of course, that's just treating symptoms--and I really don't like that kind of medicine. *sigh* I want illnesses to be CURED!!! :foottap We've found that it's easier to control with diet. Hannah avoids sugary foods, especially first thing in the morning, eats snacks between meals, and has protein/carbs before being active. |
