Urgent Prayer Request - Sis.Janice Alvear
 

I ask prayer for all of you here AFF, on behalf of Sis. Janice Alvear, was found by doctors that she is with hernia in stomach and kidney stones and other problems, if you like of our sister from this roll of prayer for her life, and we need it for many years yet. Please pass this right of prayer for others.

I haven´t taken near all the tests they have for me to take but right now they are concerned about different hernia’s on my stomach and a huge kidney stone in my right kidney. I have lots of cysts in many areas which is something I have had to deal with a long time. My iron level is high but controllable and calcium level is low.
I had a growth on my left thigh (where the leg starts) they had to take it off the other night at ER because it started bleeding…
There are several complications but I am pushing on...ever forward in the harvest field. When I get the full results which will probably be another month or so I will let you folks know. Just pray that I can ever reach out to souls.

I would say other than the hernia from my gall bladder operation the others are from lifting concrete in buckets and working in the building of churches…

Sister Alvear.........please be careful. One of those hernias could become strangulated, and you could find yourself in a crisis.

Take time to rest and get well. I'm sure that's what the Lord would want. Then you would have time and energy to work in the Kingdom.

It is wonderful to see that everyone is praying for the health of our Sis. Janice Alvear, I believe that God can and will do a miracle and restores the health of it, we the people need very Brazilian it, Thank you all for being praying.

My brain is so tired it don´t work! But I am resting today...that is the hardest thing in the world for me to do...eternal punishment for me would be to do nothing!

Sis Alvear, if you take the time right now to sit back and rest and let your body heal, you will have a much better chance of staying here for years to come in order to do the Lord's work in Brazil.

If you decide NOT to take the time to rest right now, I hate to say it, but that decision could end up in eternal rest for you, but without you there in Brazil furthering the work of God.

Please take the time to look at the big picture in this case. Look down the road. We, of course, will love and support you in whatever choice you make. Just know that we DO love you. And that we ARE praying for you.

And John, thank you for sharing this with us. I will also be praying that God will surround you with His personal peace. It's hard to watch someone you love hurt like this, isn't it? God knows what is best and what is needed.

You're Welcome, but we must be praying for the life of those in need, so I took this decision to make this request, perhaps could be a very correct attitude not do without her permit, but only so God can come to provide the her life because she loved all of our heart. She is great missionary we have here in Brazil.

Bro John Thank you for telling us about the need. I am sure she will forgive you for telling without permission. She is a loving sort of soul and would find it hard to be angry at you very long. =)

Now.....

JANICE ALVEAR, talking to you as my mother would have to us kids,=) (and you know I mean no disrespect) you either start taking time to heal and get better or you will not be around to work further. I know that sounds tempting to work yourself into an early grave so that you can get to your rest and reward EARLY but you better think twice about that. What if you are to be around a while longer to win, teach, and train up your replacement? If you go before God intends because you do not take care of yourself you could put Brazil back many years.

You know Sis that we love you and our prayers are with you but please do learn to delegate and let some others work while you oversee.
