Anyone here play Rockband?

We have a PS3 with the Rockband drums, two guitars, and the mic. We had a group of teenagers over the house yesterday afternoon playing it.

I was absolutely amazed to see one of the kids who was at our house play the bass on expert, and do the vocals as well, he didn't just finish the song he finished with 98 and 97 percent.

For those who haven't played you have to monitor both the bass line and the vocals at the same time with the bass coming across the screen vertically and the song running horizontally across the top of the screen.

Pretty crazy. Imagine doing that and singing at the same time. I have no idea how he watched both and responded to them It is all I can do to complete a song on hard much less to do a complicated one on expert while following something else at the same time.

a lot of the kids at church play this game, we might be the only family that doesnt, besides our pastor, i have alway s been so against that music that i still wont allow it in my house, they say it is fun, so enjoy, dt

Love the game... but I wish they would have some different music genres.

The Beatles version just came out (or is about to). Allows 6 simultaneous players. Pretty cool.

Great! I'm sure more and more music will be developed! There will be something for everyone! It is really a great game concept!

There are a lot of song that can be downloaded for it. We haven't downloaded any yet but we have looked through the list.

The game is a blast and the cool part is our whole family can play at once.

words matter to me, when they have christian games , then they can invade my home, that is the only compromise i will make, i am a hard man, dt

There actually is a Christian version of this available at Christian bookstores.... or so my kids tell me.

Well you can download some Brad Paisley and Toby Keith, there is a compromise for you.

Unless this is something new it is only available on the computer not PS3. It seems if they would put some Christian songs on there they would sell. They have put bands like Plain white T's and Paramore on there though.
