Giving Honor to Bro & Sis Falla
 

For those of you who don't know: On July 11, 2009 there is going to be a celebration of 50 years of marriage for Bro & Sis Falla.

Becasue this is such a rare occurance in our day and time; I wanted to tell Falla that I have the utmost respect for her and her husband and wish them continued love and blessings throughout the rest of their lives.

God has never told us life, or marriage would be easy, but he has promised to be a part of the commitments we make and show us the way to resolve conflicts and bring harmony to our marriages.

Please feel free to express your wishes and respect for this dear couple who is a friend to all on this forum.

Maybe Sis. Falla can post her wedding picture. I would but I don't know how to do it:) LOL. They are such a beautiful couple. Like I have said before; everyone in that family is good looking, men and women alike:).

God has blessed the faithfulness of multiple generations.

for the blessings of the LORD these many years. He has been our GOD and
our Guide. He said HE would be our Guide, EVEN unto death. What a com-
forting thought.

My kids have "confiscated" my pics. May after the 50th Celebration I can
get Renda to help me with some pics. The kids won't even let us see the
ones the photographer took last Sunday in the country.

There are several surprises planned for my sweetheart and I, even recent
photos they have had professionally done of us, that we have not been
allowed to see.
They are so secretive I am afraid to ask anything. They have told me "NO" so
many times lately, I'm getting paranoid!!:nah LOL!!!

So maybe after the 50th celebration, they will "let go"! LOL!!!:ursofunny
I am like a child at Christmastime! I love surprises! Our adult "children" are
great at it too!:mama

Your kind words and congrats brought tears to my eyes. It seems the tears
are easy today as I remember the blessings and love of our LORD! NO, the
journey has not all been smooth. There were hills and valleys, rain and storms,
but I recall Moses' words in Deut.11:11...

But the land where you are going is a land of hills and valleys, drinking in the
rain of heaven: (Bible in Basic English).

But today I can say, "Wouldn't Take Nothing For My Journey Now".
