Bless their precious hearts! STILL SMILING!!

We have enjoyed their songs, her writing and him singing them. What
teamwork! Also enjoyed her speaking in Ladies Conf, etc. and his messages
also.
GOD bless Bro. Murrell and Sis. Joan Ewing.

Isn't his hair a little long? And who are they trying to impress in those fancy expensive zoot suits? More proof that Pentecost is ... whoops, sorry! Spilled over from another thread.

They look great. God Bless!

A great couple. I always said I really enjoyed the first 45 minutes of ME's sermons. It was just that last 1 1/2 hours that gave me trouble!

As a college student I visited their church and home and they were very hospitable.

Re: Bro. & Sis. Ewing

There used to be a conference held at Calvary every year called the MARC conference. Bro. Ewing preached an incredible message entitled "If Marcus Comes". Perhaps the best message I've ever heard. In fact, I used to listen to it at least two or three times a year for years afterwards.

And he can sing!!! And she can write!

I love the Ewings, youth camp in Texas was not the same if Bro. and Sis. Ewing were not directing the choir. I loved to sing in their choirs.

It is sad what age does to us, make God bless and keep these warriors, we are blessed because they lived and touched our lives.

Our family's pastor and wife for some 25 years. These precious folks are not only talented, but anointed. As Evang.Greg Godwin said, "Bishop Ewing says more in the Holy Ghost by accident than many say on purpose!" I could list many memorable messages, but having recently celebrated Father's Day, I've heard several make mention of Pastor's message a few years back, " If Only Thunder Had Been There", in reference to Zebedee, father of the 'sons of thunder', James and John. What an awesome and genuine couple. We love them dearly.

One of the best campmeeting I remember was one Bro Ewing preached in the TN
district in the early 90's.

Br. Ewing has always been long winded, but I never had a problem listening to him. He is one of the few preachers I can listen to, no matter how long he preachs.
