Where's the banner that says give on it ?
A preacher can't be prosperous unless the saints give till it hurts.

Drop the banners and any verbage that "you" have a sanctuary. If you are the pastor leave the decision to several deacons and stay out of it.

Looks very nice; traditional, and I also love the grand piano.

Sorry, but a keyboard cannot replace a piano!

Ummm,, KK, if this pastor chose those banners to start with, I don't know that I feel confident that he'll make the right decision in remodeling. UNLESS those are the first things he plans to burn in a huge bonfire out back.

Get rid of those, add some REAL altar rails for people to pray at and you'll be fine. I hate this new look in churches where they've done away with altar rails.

Oh ya, and that pulpit - could ya maybe make that about 1/4 the size?? Talk about huge!

"MY" Sanctuary?????

And please, attach those two banners to a stick of dynamite and light the fuse.

Do any of you personally know this pastor. Personally I don't believe that this partcular pastor would post this.

Is this a joke? I has to be. I'm thinking someone went to this church, saw the banners, and decided to be funny. That has to be it. I'm sticking to my dynamite opinion, though.

You couldn't tell it was a joke from the very first post? :ursofunny
(Not that I have any idea who it is, but nearly all of the extreme characters are easy to spot in a heartbeat.)

No, I couldn't. And other's were taking it seriously so I just figured...

I still don't really know, though. I've seen enough in my young life to believe it, and besides, I'm a newbie.

And by the way....that picture of Barney you posted on the Juanita thing....AMAZING.

We teach obedience and submission to God.

Do you struggle with the words the banners display?

You say you know me and now betray me? Do you belong to the Judas Iscariot lineage?
