Yep... and it is the people against Obamacare that are being accused of manufacturing the protests.

In government always remember the rule of thumb. Whatever they say... the truth is the exact opposite.

That is from the Saul Alinsky socialism hand book. False accusations by Democrats are coming out in huge quantities. Obama is doing his share in false accusations. This week he told of docs doing foot amputations for 40,000 dollars. Lied by exageration. Many are getting under 1,000 dollars reimbursement on medicare.

a couple of important things to remember.

When the democrat leadership makes an accusation against their opponents, you can be sure that what ever they are accusing others of, they are actuall doing.

Astroturf being a classic example.

Also, there are millions of Americans that are getting really upset and are just beginning to engage politically right now. The more they are dismissed the more engaged they will become. The good news is, the bad guys are being dismissive and the good guys are the ones getting engaged.

I dont know if we will win this round over healthcare but I sure know that Barak Obama has re-energized the Conservative movement. the movement itself was either dead or too mature to matter.... It looks like that is now behind us.

Bad news for the uber liberal. Good news for America.

I think it's a little of both. Some are people who have legitmiate questions. I, and everyone else, have legitimate questions about it being budget neutral, protection from it becoming a single payer option, making sure that we don't give advantages and perks to pharmaceutical and insurance companies. There are plenty of good questions that need to be debated and talked about before a bill is signed into law. There is no reason to get in a rush to have it passed by the first of the year. The number one priority is making sure that we get it right. That's the healthy part of all this.

Then there are the others. Some are the goofy Ron Paul people who are out of the Universe right wing. They're ready to bring down the Fed and a lot of other American systems because it doesn't jive with their idea of the Constitution. This group includes some that have a real twinge of racism and bigotry in their actions. They are a part of the groups who've planned their protests on the internet and put up sample protest videos to show others how to do it. They've decided to try and prevent any discussion and just turn it into a howling mob. Sure that's how they feel, but their intentions aren't about trying to fix health care, it's just about preventing any gov't action on the matter.

Then there are the few people who have been fed so much misinformation and untruth that they don't even really know what's happening. There are a lot of over 60 in this group and I feel for them. They're the easily misled sheep type that just read a blurb or hear a soundbite and take it for gospel truth and become scared and worked up and never once try to verify the information on their own. They are genuinely scared because of their ignorance on the issue.

I think there is a big mixture of folks that make up these protestors.
