Prayer Revival
 

We are in a three night prayer revival and the second night was tonight, and it's been SO awesome. I could have stayed all night last night; it was one of the most intense prayer and praise times I've ever experienced. We had a backslidden guy (out 5 years) come back to the altar last night and completely sell out to Jesus. What a time of rejoicing! We've prayed for him for a LONG time. God did so many great things; the praise just wouldn't stop!

I am so totally exhausted from being at the hospital every day, but I SO need this prayer revival. It's the first one we've ever done here in Jackson, and the crowds have been great. We have praise & worship and then just prayer, prayer, prayer - in whatever direction the Lord is leading. There has been weeping, shouting, dancing, even a little running. LOL! We have been in 21 days of "Prayer for the Harvest", so this is the culmination of that time. God is good!

You don't know how I needed to read about the prayer revival. I had given up on seeing change in someone, and I needed to be reminded that we can't give up - no matter how it looks on the outside. Of course, my mind knows all that, but my heart has been disappointed again. God is faithful and I will never, never give up!

The three nights are up. It was beyond words - some things broke in the heavenlies, I really believe. God is so awesome!

I would encourage any church to have a Prayer Revival. It's the most powerful thing we've ever done here.

I haven't heard of a prayer revival before ... been a part of nightly prayer meetings spanning several days though.

What was the format or how was the prayer revival structured? Was it just where people came and prayed for an hour or more independently, or was it a corporate-type of prayer meeting?

I'd be interested to know more if you want to share here or you can PM me.
