I didn't choose to pay the fee. I thought they kinda slipped that on in on us. I did enjoy it while it lasted but I spend too much time on the computer as it is.

I didn't pay the fee. It wasn't worth the money to me. They could opt to add some advertisement and keep the place free to members, like almost every other site does. Yahoo messenger is still free, and I just traded ID's with people from EA that I wanted to stay in touch with.

I didn't use it when it was free. ;)

Tons of people in my church did, though, and when they started charging, everyone moved to facebook.

They don't usually ban for not being interesting enough. They usually ban for being TOO interesting. LOL

My account is still there... I suppose. I never deleted or canceled it. I just don't go there anymore.

It would (was) fun to post for a few days but just got frustrating. I felt the same way over there that some of the very conservative types (dare I say "ultra" conservative?) feel about this place.

But.... I really REALLY tried to stay respectful! That is the difference.... it was the intolerance for ideas that was not acceptable at EA.

And THAT pretty much sums up the UC stance! Trust me, it used to be me. I was so intolerant that I'm embarrassed about it now when I think about it. :D

they banned yall, but they let an active methodist (me) stay as a member? very interresting!!! Anyway, finally deleted my account there when i couldn't even read the mail a person had sent to me.
