Yes, I know...it's about time! :blah

The rebellious side of me just didn't want the extra work load. (Yes, it's work to try to keep up with all the social media!) :heeheehee

A friend made me create an account many months ago, but it's just been sitting there dormant. I even had several 'friend' requests. Some I have no clue who they are, most are from AFF. :winkgrin

I saw one of my friends had over 700 friends. I'm like, 'HUHHH?!?' :uhoh I don't even think I KNOW 700 peeps well enough to make them 'friends'. :doh

LOL! the funny thing is that as of yesterday, I have decided to EXIT Facebook.

several members of my family have all had bad issues with virus's from facebook and I have decided to not do facebook any longer.

Im loging in today to put up a vacancy sign on my account.

I played FarmTown for a while but I got bored with it.

My big farm plot has just been sitting there doing nothing with 1.7 million coins in the bank.

But... I'm not interested anymore... at the moment. :)

Yep... I've done all that plenty of times.

I have the largest plot of land allowed and I sometimes wonder if I would find it interesting if I would start putting up a farm house, fences, ponds etc. But I don't see it happening.

I don't think a virus should be a problem on facebook unless an attachment is opened that contains a virus. I've never had any problems but I don't open attachments.

I got a virus from facebook a few weeks ago. It was on my work computer and I had to send it back to Houston to have the drive wiped out.

But... I only received it because I clicked on a link/attachment in a message from a friend.

The friend is a trusted friend so I clicked without looking. If I had simply moused over the attachment the url itself would have been enough to let me know it was suspicious.

SOmeone had hacked my friends account.

You guys and your FB games. Your the folks that guys like me block or 'hide'.

Facebook is old hat though. Technology is moving on. Twitter was the next best thing, but I think by next year it will be something else. It's all quite fun isn't it!

No, no...thank YOU! :D

That is my hubby's gma...she passed away last December at 105 years of age, but she looked like she could have gone at least another 5! LOL! She was sharp till the end!

I did the same thing... clicked on a link from Sherri thinking it was something from when we were there visiting in TN or something.

I'm not sure what it did, but it shut down my sister's laptop for a while. She did get it fixed, but she hasn't trusted me with it since. :sad
