Pictures of Our New Building
 

Just thought I'd start a happy thread!! Here's the progress on our new sanctuary, so far. Should be done around Valentine's Day, if all goes on schedule. The restrooms are going to be FABULOUS; very different. You can see the size compared to the building we are in now, which is on the back. The new one seats 1,400.

Ok, not QUITE that fabulous. LOL!!! But they are going to be ultra cool. And the foyer floor is a polished concrete with a black aggregate rock in it. I think it's going to look awesome.

Very happy for you folks when we drive from Ohio to Texas may run by to get a look not sure what day yet or if you folks will be around...Love you lot. Anxious for Nov. to get here for our few days together.

Love you folks much. The building I know will be nice and many doors will open. God will remember your kindness to people all over the world...not even a cup of water given in HIS name is forgotton!

The first thing I thought was urinal ... but then I don't know ... really?? The pic isn't close enough to see what's on the ground there ... from here it looks like a litter box with sand or something. :lol

It's a rock floor with a drain. The back wall turns into a waterfall at the appropriate times. ;)

Sherri, your new building looks amazing.

There was an article in the paper here the other day about a church in our area that recently made the list of the top churches in size and also the top churches in growth rate.

I wonder if you all made that list? I'm thinking that with the numbers I see from you, you probably should have. Let me see if I can find the article for you. It was in the Toledo Blade.

It's www.loveandtruthchurch.com and we are at the Jackson location. God is doing amazing things here - we only started 8 years ago next week, and He has been SO faithful.

Pastor Eddie's father was a UPC missionary. Sherri's brother is Scott Graham if you have heard of him.

I grew up UPC (very liberal church) and went to Bible College. We left UPC in 1991 for the sake of our conscience.

No, we couldn't continue to stay a part of something that we couldn't Biblically support their stance on several issues. I think today (18 years later), you can actually get by with some of those issues, but not back then. And it was time for us to leave; I have no doubts.

And yes, Scott is still very much a part of it, and I respect that.

I like the way your website has the ALL the pastors under "Staff" and not under "PASTOR POTENTATE DUDE".
