It's Official!!
 

We are moving on Saturday to Southern Illinois...I am SUPER excited! We have been elected as pastors at the Southern Illinois Worship Center! We are ecstatic! Please be in prayer for us as we go into this new endeavor! Pray God's blessings on our church, our family, but most importantly, for the lost that we are trying to reach! I've been keeping quiet so long on this, that it's time to shout it out!

Sherri, I am always proud of you!!! I too, have wanted to tell it so many times, but couldn't! But the big day is Saturday! I just don't know how we're going to fit all our junk in that tiny uhaul!!! I am glad I'll only be 3 hours away too!!! I feel ministry trips to Jackson coming on...frequent trips...lol!

Thank you to all for your words of congratulations and more importantly, thank you for your prayers!!! I am a PK, so this isn't really something new, but this is the first time I will be the Pastor's Wife! Wow on so many levels!

Oh my goodness, you have GOT to be kidding!!!!

I attended there, as it's only a couple miles from me, but quit because I didn't 'feel' it there. So I haven't been going anywhere for a while now.

M, when are you going to be here?

For those who don't know (and in case it's been mentioned, as I haven't read any other posts on this thread), this is Rev. Elvin Ervin's church, who passed away over a year ago from cancer. They haven't had a pastor since.

Oh gosh, I'm so excited!!

And yes, H1, it's true!!!!! Our first Sunday officially there is THIS Sunday!!! It is going great! We love it there! Great group of people!!!

I'm sorry that I won't make it there this Sunday, as my son is leaving Monday for boot camp and we have plans with family on Sunday, but I'll be there the next Sunday!!
