Today I became a GRANDPA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sophia Grayce Harris was born this morning at 9:50AM.............11lbs 6oz.....21 1/2 inches...........yes sir brothers and sisters, you read it here first, we have a new bouncing baby TODDLER.......... :ursofunny

Congratulations!!! What a beautiful name. We have a five yr old granddaughter
named Madelyn Grace and she has a little brother who will soon be 2 yrs. His name
is Grayson Chance. Grandchildren are wonderful!!! We are expecting our first Great-
grandchild (girl) in January.

Congratulations! We just recently celebrated the first birthday of my first grandaughter. It is a wonderful thing to be a grandfatehr!

Sounds like yours was born half grown. My oldest child was right at 10 lbs at birth.

Me too !! Only double ;-) daughter is expecting twins...yes TWINS on Dec 1

These will be our first grandkids.

Being a grandparent is a whole new world. Only have one grandchild but we love and spoil her.

That's a big baby!! (my second child was 9# 7 oz; my husband weighed 10# 12oz )

My first child, a boy, was 10lbs 9 oz and 22 1/2 inches long and was 9 days early. The doctor told me when I was 3 months along that he'd be about 12 lbs at full term.

He always got the attention of visitors viewing through the glass window too! He wore 6 month clothes and size 1 shoes. He weighed 17 lbs by the time he was 4 months old.

While his top weight was 285 at 6'1", he's now in a Navy boot camp weighing 192 at the same height...18 years after his birth.

Ahhh..but this thread isn't about him!

that is sooo cool! Are they boy/boy or girl/girl or boy/girl? :D
Mine is a girl., and I've already been shopping a few times!!!
Today I bought some pretty pink Cinderella-ish fleece to make a blankie (or should I say BIND a blanket): :D and a pattern to make some buntings, hats and such, what FUN!!! I never knew they made such cute patterns for such CUTE almost like the designer stores-baby items!
