Just a thought...

The God of the universe manifest in flesh accomplished everything He set out to do...he raised the dead...he healed the sick...he delivered the posessed...He gave up His life when He CHOSE to do so...He conquered death, hell and the grave...but the only time He wasnt able to do what He wanted was when He went back home to Nazareth...Bible says that...He was only able to do a few things because of their un-belief...those who claim to know Him best have the ability to hinder Him the most....just a thought.

So, God can't work miracles if people don't have faith?

This is true.

I remember hearing once about a Baptist church who had an apostolic minister come and speak. God moved all over the place and the whole church was baptized in Jesus name.

When I heard of that I thought... they can't shut down a move of God. It takes a seasoned Pentecostal to do that.

Matthew 13:58...and He did not many mighty works because of their unbelief. The point im trying to make is that we claim to be the ones that KNOW Him but we try to box Him up and limit Him with our unbelief and our apathy. Some of hsi miracles hinged on the obediance of the one being healed...it required some effort on their part...they obeyed and responded because of their faith...its not that He doesnt have the power...its just that we dont have the faith to step out and respond....meaning the miracle doesnt happen.

I think God can heal people who have no faith in him at all.

not debating what He is capable of..just saying what happened.

The Bible doesn't necessarily say he couldn't do the works. Just that he didn't. The possible implication that he could not is still there but it is not explicitly stated.

"As your faith is, so be it unto you."

They had no faith because all they saw was the Carpenter, not the Creator.
