After 2 years and almost 12,000 posts I am no longer a member of Jp.com or Apf or whatever...
And yes, lets get all the haha's out of the way... I was banned.
Seems some things are not allowed to be discussed....and when you do...bye bye

I got banned in the first 3 days of it. About 30 minutes after they banned DA :(

I've never been a preacher, thus ineligible to join JP.com. Nor am I the type to "fudge" the truth in order to sign up either. But.... I've always been curious as to the kind of discussions going on at some of the more conservative boards. My only experience with one was Everyone Apostolic (banned after a few days).

I guess the straw that broke the back was...
DW had Omar Jolly preach for him friday night...
During the message he said "The tool between your legs is not whats important..its the tool between your ears".

I voiced that I felt that was crude and inappropriate language for a man of God.
I was rebuked and told I did not know the context of the whole message.
I dont personally give a flip the context..
If I had been there with my young kids I would have walked out.

I was told I did not like "solid Apostolic Preaching"....
Blah blah blah

If Crude lingo is Apostolic... then call me Catholic...

My daughter walked out a couple weeks ago when her pastor started talking about a gang rape taking place on a pool table. She was appalled that he was talking about that in church with kids/teens in there.

That is a very sensitive story, I agree that talking about it in specific detail is too much. I heard it referenced by a preacher in general terms the other night (that a young girl was "attacked: while a crowd watched) and I tensed up as soon as he started to mention it because I wasn't sure how far he was going to take it... but, I didn't feel like he crossed the lines in the way he handled it. Also, this was in a service that all of the children and teens were in other parts of the building.

What's apf and jp? I tried to join Apostolic men and Wordshare but for some reason they didn't confirm me. I did hear from Apostolic men once and suspect I got banned before I ever posted. I'd like to find a forum that so many people don't dislike UPCI so much.:sad
