Thank you everyone. Just got back from Detroit singing my heart out. When I tell you we shouted so hard on that stage right after we finished singing, you would have thought the RAPTURE was about to take place.

All glory goes to God for the great things he has done. I am living proof that you can go to a church that IS Apostolic (and UPCI) keep outward and inward standards and be a witness to those that dont know the TRUTH! Because of us allowing God to use us, revival has broken out over America (I know this to be true from the testimonies that are coming in). God promised us as a choir miracles, signs and wonders and I can say without a doubt each promise has been and is continuing to be fulfilled!

Continue to pray for us as we hold up the Oneness banner of Our Lord Jesus Christ. And now I must rest as it was a verrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyy long weekend.

My sister and her husband went to Detroit for the choir compeition and my mother said they really enjoyed it. My mom mentioned that fact that people were getting blessed and something about some female judge speaking in tounges? Also mentioned Byron Cage being there, my mom used to go to church with his parents.

So when's the preaching competition start? I hear Lee Stoneking is going up against Anthony Mangun in the first round, followed by a matchup between TF Tenney and Daniel Segraves.

However, the Tenney/Segraves match is expected to be a snoozer because they actually say things of value.

Technically, I'd say that guy was speaking to himself and to God; it wasn't a "public" proclamation for everyone (the whole "church") to hear. :thumbsup

P.S. Do you interpret THIS scripture just as literally?

I Corinthians 14:34 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law."

My Choir Director and Minister of Music of Atlanta West Pentecostal Church is Brandon Frazier.

Yes we are Apostolic in Doctrine, Pentecostal in experience and we are a part of the United Pentecostal Church International (for those that were curious).

I disagree, they said go up yonder.

Funny story: Before my wife and I were married (2 years ago) she was visiting in Ca. we were walking down the street at Fisherman's wharf in San Francisco, a pick up drove by and the pastor of Atlanta West leaned out the window and yelled her name. She was from St. Louis and had recently retired from UPC headquarters. I told her " that just goes to show that no matter where you are you'd better behave yourself". He had preached a camp put on by CLC in Stockton.

LOL, I have a similar story! We were in New Orleans years ago and we were walking down in the French Quarter just as the sun was going down. Someone walked up behind us and put his hand on my dads shoulder, it was Bro. Alan Oggs! He was laughing and said "what are ya'll up to?" :ursofunny
