Has Anyone Tried Craisins?

I don't like raisins or cranberries, but I love Craisins. Isn't that weird?

Nope! I'm the same way! I can't stand raisins, (especially cooked into foods), but I love Craisins--straight from the bag, in cookies, even in bread pudding.

I do like cranberry sauce made from fresh cranberries, though. ;)

It is possible that we're both weird, I guess...:D

I like raisins, but not cranberries by themselves. But I LOVE craisins!! I eat them in oatmeal, cereal, salads, and just all alone. They have regular ones and other flavors like cherry that are really good too.

I love them. But I also like raisins. :heart

In most recipes you can sub craisins for the raisins. You might want to change the spice or flavoring to enhance the finished product.

I've had great sucess using them to cook/bake.
Just remember they are a bit sweeter with a definite tart bite.

An interesting snack if you eat them straight!

I use them a lot in cookies- I also make a pumpkin bread with crasins and walnuts for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Yep. Love crasins. Actually we put them in salads and sometimes we will do pizza at home with chicken, spinach and crasins.
