I'm at work and it's DEAD!

I think 75% of the company took this week off.

This morning has been a day long. Anyone else in this situation?

We're really busy here. Calls stacked deep with dr's offices and pt's calling in to get things done before the holiday. Bleh.

I read on FB a post that Seth made to NLYP that was too funny!

NLYP said that Drama Queen had just booked a cruise with IAINT and wife.

Seth posted they should just move into a house boat together since they go on so many cruises together. I laughed out loud!

Pretty slow here as well. My wife and I opened an insurance agency on August 17th, and so far, November has been our slowest month.

Dead zone here. We are on 4-day work weeks so normally Monday and Friday is dead, but this week even today is dead, I expect tomorrow will be worse.

I normally have five operators answering the switchboard and we only have two today and they still aren't busy.

Worked the weekend and Mon so now have Tues,Wed & Thurs off; regular days off W,Th and of course Everyone gets the holiday----so----three in a row!

I may try to be productive at home. Planning to try making creamy tacos for the first time courtesy of the AFF recipes. So there are supper plans.

Well, normally things would be pretty dead here, but since my brother hurt himself pretty badly yesterday, the phones have been pretty hectic with everybody worried about their pastor.

That's fine though, I am happy that I am able to give good news, today could have been one of the worst days of my life if things had gone differently. Head injuries are so terrifying. So, I am thanking Jesus today!!!!

I know, my daughter has to work on Fri. and she is dreading it. Her SBUX is staying open an hour later for all the late shoppers, it is usually crazy. :sad

I'm at work and they're kicking us up and down the street... everybody's putting in tickets now for the Holidays.

hmm... that same systems guy just went out to lunch with the support gal in the cube next to mine, again. Never seen them hang out together so much. Must have discovered a lunch place that they both like.

I guess it works for some, but then you always combine the holiday with the anniversary. Plus, for the wedding itself, everyone has to give up the holiday to attend the wedding!!!

I don't think they are opening any earlier, I think 5 am is early enough!! My daughter is usually the opening shift supervisor and she has to be there at 4:30 am, I don't know how she does it.

Now instead of being bored by nothing, I am being bored by a conference call that will droan on for an hour and cover basically nothing that couldnt have been told to me in a 2 sentance email.
