What you can't live without....

Forgive me if we have had this thread before, but as my yearbook class was planning a party,
we got in to a discussion about what we ALWAYS have in our pantry or fridge... (besides things like eggs and milk)

In our house we ALWAYS have-

Tortilla chips
cheese (both block and shredded)
Salsa
sour cream
(DO YOU SEE A NACHO THEME)

Chili
Hot Dogs
French Fries (in the freezer)

It is quite ironic, because I am a pretty good cook, and we rarely resort to chili dogs for dinner, but the hubby and kids always know that are there...

So what can be counted on to be in your fridge, freezer, or pantry?

Re: What you can't live without....

There is usually "nothing" in our refrigerator or pantry. Just ask the kids. My wife generally cooks a meal every night, we have had chili verde this week and meatloaf, and a really late basketball game that required a quick stop by Taco Bell. So we don't have a lot of grab and go foods but my son lets us know when we are low on hot dogs.

Greek yogurt
frozen raspberries

sugar free punch
cheese- several varieties

This is surprisingly difficult for me to answer. I guess because I have become somewhat of a food hoarder. It started out just wanting to get a good deal. Oatmeal would be on sale, buy one get one, and so I would buy 8 boxes, to last until It went on sale again.

I actually had to take INVENTORY, recently, of my 2 pantries, and inside and outside freezers. Bottom line, I am ONLY allowed to buy perishables that I need!

So in summary, apparently every food possible is what I can't live without :heeheehee
