Littleboy Ferd's latest, great line....

Well, it is hard to believe but my little guy who was once Baby Ferd, then todler Ferd is going to be 5 on Christmas day!

I cant believe it has been that long!

Well anyway last week he was really hitting his mom hard on decorating for Christmas. She was really doing her best to get out of it because they are headed to La. around the 18th and will be there till the first. (i aint so lucky)

Anyway, Mrs. Ferd gave in and they put some of the yard stuff up and when they got done,

Littleboy Ferd said "MOM! Now our neighbors wont think we forgot Christmas!"

All my new little granbabies can say is feed me, hold me, change me.

It's a unique language of grunts and groans.

I need to pray for the gift of interpretation.

They are one month old tomorrow. I am enjoying a weekend with them in St Louis.

Yeahhhh !!!

Bringing this one back...

a couple of weeks ago, Littleboy Ferd got into some trouble with his mother for not helping to clean up his toys.

He replied to his mother:
"my brain just goes in circles. it says Play, Clean-up, Play, Clean-up. Then it chooses PLAY!

Re: Littleboy Ferd's latest, great line....

Last month we were on our way home from an event and it was one of the coldest nights of the year.

Littleboy Ferd told me he wanted to take his shoes off. Knowing how cold it was and that he would have to walk in the garage on a cold floor, I told him no.

He fussed with me about it but finally got quite.

Dad that I am, I was proud I finally won an argument.

A few minutes later Mr. Smartty pants says "Dad, I disobeyed you!"

What do you do with that????

Ferd, my friend posted this on FB a few days ago, I cracked up!

"My 6 yr. old granddaughter (Taylor) is an avid book reader. She was explaining that some of her books have bad words in them such as the D & S words, she assured me that she skips over these words. ????? What kind of books is she reading, I thought. I hated asking what these words were, but I had to know.............she replied "Dumb & stupid" What a relief =)"

LOL! Love it!!!

My five year old grandson AJ said he has a button on his forehead that he can press and talk like his dad. It is his AJ brain and his Daddy brain. When he starts mimicking his dad he says he has his daddy brain on!!

Another one from AJ is that he told his mom a month or so ago that aliens are tiny creatures and that they are really nice, but that if they get angry they are mean and will eat us. And that we can talk to them through satellite dishes!

Re: Littleboy Ferd's latest, great line....

Levi had a soccer game this weekend. In his first game this season, he sat down on the field in the middle of the game. This second game was much better. He did not sit, but he did play “airplane”.

After the game, all the parents form a tunnel with our hands for the kids to run thru. Each team does it, and the kids run across the field and thru the opposing teams tunnel and then back. It is great fun. Well this time, Levi disappeared. I went looking for him and when I found him I told him he missed the tunnel.

He replied “But dad I met a girl!”
