Note to Ipod/MP3 users

When you are wearing your earphones and listening in public continue to act as if you hear everything around you.

Do not close your eyes and begin singing along to the music.

Do not begin bobbing your head, you look ridiculous.

Do not drum on things around you.

You would think that these things would be common sense.

Just trying to help some of you out.

For that matter, when you are talking into a bluetooth, don't argue with someone on it while standing in the store. No one can see the bluetooth, but we can see that you are visibly upset or angry and talking to yourself. Be especially careful of this if you talk with your hands while using a bluetooth.

We almost called the little guys in white jackets for someone who did that one night!!

And don't dance or shake body parts, ESPECIALLY if your body part in question is ginormous and encased in skin tight spandex or I will take your picture and post it on "peopleofwalmart.com"

This is true. I see these things everyday on the metro. I wonder what these people are thinking. If it wasn't so obvious I would video these people with my phone so you could see...but then I would be acting like them.

I was in South Korea a couple of years ago, on a train and I couldn't get my Ipod to work. I must not have had the earphones in all the way or something. Anyway, after a little while, I heard American music. In fact, if I remember correctly, it was either Neil Young or the Allman Brothers. The more I listened the more familiar it sounded. I thought, "Wow, some South Korean knows good music when they hear it!" I was looking around for who it was that had their Ipod turned up loud and was checking out all these Koreans on the train with me as I was the lone American. After careful scrutiny, I realized that it was ME!!! My Ipod was on loud in my pocket. At first I felt really stupid, then I realized that no one probably knew the music anyway, then I just started to laugh 'cause I couldn't believe how humorous it was! At least I didn't start jammin' on the train! LOL

Someone needs to invent some kind of a red flashing light that attaches to these user's heads or faces...somewhere visible.

I work in a real estate office...a LOT of realtors use these...you don't know how many times I've had to ask, 'you talkin' to me?' :doh

I would be obvious about videoing them and see what their reactions were

Sat down to eat in a road-side restaurant out in the country, once. Some cowboy comes in and starts up a conversation on his cell phone. (Regular, not blue tooth.) And I'm not exaggerating, he was talking loud enough for people in cars on the highway to hear! (OK, so I am exaggerating. Some. But it was loud! :lol)

Yes, that is another thing, people that feel as though they need to shout in to the cell phone. I hate it when people go through the checkout line and keep talking on their cell while the clerk is trying to get them to pay.

BTW don't make me mad today, I am already irritated at stupid people.

No worries Timmy, I don't think you could make me mad. Unless you are the one responsible for my wife's paycheck not being direct deposited last night like it was supposed to.

Hmmmm....I guess I could post my videos taken at the YMCA. I video my stroke so I can see where I need improvement to emulate the Total Immersion method and then review it later. I do both above and underwater video! Maybe a new "speedos" thread?

Just for the record, I do NOT wear those little "paint on" swim panties!

I wear the Jammer Tri shorts! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO!!

I had the reverse happen, I was behind a lady in a line and she was involved in what I assumed was an animated conversation via bluetooth... and then she turned around and I discovered that she was in fact NOT on a bluetooth device.... :christmoose

The clerk and I kept exchanging worried glances until the lady left the store!! :jolly

You have weird visions my friend. Have you looked into drugs to stop those things from happening?
