It is -17 F, and the Olympic torch is passing through today at about 5:40pm. Nice warm day for the athlete.

Cool! When I lived in Idaho this happened while we were there! We stood on the side walk and watched! I took pics too, dont know what happened to them though!

The Olympic Torch Is in Vancouver & just ran past my house about 1:45 PM today.

People start to gather at 1PM.
I live about 1/2 block from here.

We saw the torch go through San Jose in, uh, I guess 1984 for the Summer Games in L.A.

I took shaky pictures cuz I had a digital camera in one hand & a video camera in the other!
Plus it was cold!

So cool, I wanted to go this year so bad! I LOVE ice skating and some of my favorites are competing. But the prices for the individual events are astronomical!!!! I could swing the air fare and stay with friends, but the tickets were just too much! :tissue

I wouldn't go even if I had the money but I hear tickets for events are being resold at cost or below.

Cost is $300 and up per event! I have been looking online and the cheapest ticket I have found for any event was $291, and that was with an obstructed view! The ice skating tickets are pricey.

My friend is going to a practice session for FREE today, I am so jealous!
