Thought this would be a good way to say thanks to some people and just give all of us some good ideas...

Sorry, couldn't resist. Really, NoW made my day the other night when he PM'd me, PO made my day today teasing Timmy, Sam made my day with those cartoons he posted about the snow...

Timmy makes my day everytime he says something funny or makes me think of a funny comeback...

And everyone on here who can laugh and share without offense makes my day everytime I log on!

Yeah, well... that's why I went ahead and told "the rest of the story..." and actually did say how I enjoyed people here. :haloplug

That and the feeling that a few people would be upset to think they had actually agreed with anyone about anything!! :heeheehee

I try to be kind, smile and say thank you to the folks that wait on me at the fast food place or the checkout person or give a sincere complement to people at work who are under appreciated. A kind word can do wonders!

Besides; that's something I like to have happen to me and I take Jesus' words to heart that I should do unto others as I would have done unto me.

this past Friday, My granddaughter wrapped my birthday gift in paper towels when I came by unexpectedly - she was two days early with the gift. Was so sweet to know she wanted me to have my gift, wrapped the best way she knew how with short notice!!

What a sweet surprise!


Its been awhile back, but I didn't have the exact change for my meal and a total stranger walked up and paid for it. Told me to just return the favor to someone else sometime.

One of the ladies at work had a big name person in this area walk up to her Fri and hand her a small token of appreciation because he appreciated her smile. It made her week!

It happened today!

People came to church KNOWING I was going to preach!

That made my day!
