I like your saying, "There are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Chuck Norris lives in Houston." My son is a cop in Fort Worth and he got to meet Chuck at the police academy while there.

LOL...I had almost forgotten I had that on there.
By the way, you're wracking up points at a record pace.
1.) You're from TX
2.) Your son is a cop. He will be in my prayers.

Hahahaha

I enjoy teasing Texans, that is a lot of fun because of their enormous pride. I mean, look at the title to this thread.

..... FROM TEXAS"

Like that is gonna make him better than from ... say Caifornia? Or Alabama?

My goodness, that pride of the fallen star state demands a slight pricking.

All you have to do is prick that little balloon and they puff out and expand and all those fun things to watch!

Besides, after that comment, how could I not take the bait? That was like a red cape to a bull!

LOL

Tis all in fun though,

TStew, Texas Granny, all the rest of you Fallen Star Texans,:ursofunny

Welcome to the forum.

One of the first things you'll learn is that there is great diversity among Apostolics.

You'll hear of stuff here that Apostolics believe that you have never heard in your local church or fellowship circle. Don't be judgmental. Just as there is a lot of diversity in a human body, there is a lot of diversity in the Body of Christ.

Do we need to remind these grieving folks (those who can't say, "I'm from Texas") about the Alamo? :ursofunny

They better not give us to much grief, we might just withdraw from the union!

Another reason why God is gonna put the big "THUMP" on Texas!!

(PROUD Texan) he says!!!!

Isa 16:6 We have heard of the pride of Texans; they are very proud: even of their haughtiness, and their pride, and their wrath: but their lies shall not be so.

Psa 138:6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

"Sigh".... I feel like David....

Psa 86:14 O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.

Disclaimer: I am joking to the poor deprived people of Texas. LOL

Texans just let all you others live in the United States. We are proud, but humble. And very gracious.

Actually, I had looked recently at starting a work in either west texas or in New Mexico to have a half-way point between the home church and our new mission work in Mexico.

I just like to give texans a hard time.

It looks like, if nothing else, I will be traveling through your state a little bit in the next few months. We have been busy getting that work off the ground in Mexico.

When I evangelized, we traveled through there frequently, mainly the northern part.

It is not really that bad, but I like to stir the pot!
