Another church leaves the upc?
 

Can anyone confirm that the upc church in Turlock California has left teh upc? It's the split off the original upc church that left the upc. I don't know what the pastor's name is but I heard they left. Anyone know? If they left, did they go left or right?

Does anyone know how long it takes for a pastor or church to be deleted from UPCI church finder if he/she withdraws, stops sending in fees, or fails to sign the AS?

I thought there was one that was on there for almost two years after leaving... checked tonight and it was off. Maybe I was mistaken. When my church pulled out it was off within a few months. But it may have been a special case... :D

This would be hard to believe as Tony Copple is a Presbyter and has long time ties to the UPCI. I remain doubtful.

Actually Tony Copples church is still listed in the upcis dictory Are u sure its not the other upci church that is in turlock.

I won't believe this one until I see it on official paper. I can't imagine Tony leaving UPC.

The two churches are only 1 mile apart according to Google Maps. Maybe they should throw in together and join hands?

no, I know people there and visited often. I grew up here, my dad did, and now brother pastor. www.growinginfaith.org I now attend a small church in Indy that is non denominational.

My BIL and sister go to this church and I though I haven't talked to them I can guarantee you they haven't left. This is a rumor if I ever heard one. They are full blooded UPC.

To be honest, I don't know but I can say that a Grayson kid quizzes with them, whos dad Pastors Concord, CA. Now his teams quiz both WPF and Western District tournaments. So, go figure.

Actually I pastor the other church in town, J/K!

The church I pastor is located about 4 miles outside of Turlock, it left the UPC in the early 1970's so it isn't us.
