I had forgotten, went running to the bedroom telling the Skinner, "We have to go to church early tonight!!!!!!" He looked at me wierdly and said, "Why in the world do we have to do that?" I said, "IT'S SECRETARIES DAY!!!!!" He said, "Oh, Ok, we'll leave early then."

I'm freaking out and he's cool as a cucumber!!!!! Go figure....

I guess it's politically incorrect to call them secretaries anymore, eh?

I can't imagine why it would. After all, aren't the members of an American president's cabinet called "secretaries"?

Although true secretaries are lumped into this group, typically, a true administrative assistant's responsibilities far surpass those required of a secretary. Likewise, the level of education and experience often varies between the two.

So there you have it...straight from an Administrative Assistant! :hypercoffee

The day was ORIGINALLY called "Secretaries Day" and in many places the terms secretary and administrative assistant are used interchangeably.

Whatever, Now go get me another cup of coffee! :coffee2
