We move in March 7th - only three weeks away! I can't wait; it's going to be exciting. Now we're just praying that everything comes together by that time! I hope I remember how to do these pictures.

Youth led service in the present Auditorium (this has nothing to do with the new building - I'm just proud of our kids!!. They came in today on their day off from school and prayed in the Edge Auditorium, just because they wanted to!!)

Sorry - let me clear one thing up. That picture of the youth was not from yesterday - it was from a youth led meeting a couple months ago. BUT - they DID come in and pray yesterday, just not this many of them.

I had a dream that this gal from our church was singing at the Dedication "To God Be the Glory" ("My Tribute") - the old song by Andre Crouch. So I asked her to sing it. It's the song Eddie and I had at our wedding, and it's always kind of been our theme. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!

The Dedication services are the middle of June. Bishop Garlington will be here - it will be exciting.

Also, the carpeting in the sanctuary is nice...glad to see they got the color changed in the ladies' restroom!! And yes, the guys bathroom rocks!

I'm still not a huge fan of the paint in the ladies' room. The decorator said it would be terra cotta, but it still has a rosy tint to me. Oh well.....this is the first time that I have not picked out everything and let a decorator do the colors. The colors on the sanctuary pictures look kind of beige and brown, but they are actually a rust and wheat color - they look great with the carpet and chairs.

Joseph Garlington - grew up PAW or some sort of Oneness African American group. He's a fantastic singer and preacher - really deep, but hilarious too. He's been here before, but we've heard him preach for years in different places. He pastors a big church in Pennsylvania.

It looks good tho...it did look more rosy, but certainly better than it was before! LOL!

I can't believe how nice the guy's restroom turned out! It looks great!!!! Excited to see the coffee shop as well...and yes, I'm glad we'll be there! Wouldn't miss it!

At first glance I thought "what next, confession booths"?:ursofunny

It all looks very nice as the house of God deserves to look. The auditorium looks very much like "The Sanctuary" in Hazelwood and my wife says the rest room looks like the women's rest room there too..of course I wouldn't know. I do know we have great pastors at the Sanctuary!! I think Sherri would have to agree.

I love that song, I sang that to my parents at my wedding... the verse anyway.

The church is absolutely beautiful.... I will be back to visit again.

Oh that would be awesome!! It's Friday through Sunday, June 11-13th. The Bishop will be with us Friday night and Saturday morning, and there won't be anything going on Saturday night. The actual dedication will be Sunday morning, I think.

Today I met with a florist who is doing some funky modern fresh arrangements for the first day in the new building. Plus he and the whole architectural team are coming to church on March 7th for the first service!! Awesome!

Some of them are, but not from a Spirit-filled persuasion. Some of them probably do not have a relationship with God at all.
