2010 Snow at Our Rear Patio
 

We had about 12" over two days, I believe is a record or near record for the Dallas area, we are 20 miles east of Dallas.

Thats insane. I used to live in Hurst and I don't think I ever saw a flake fall..

I'd say... my ex was from Grand Prarie? and I don't think he grew up with snow... wow that looks like my neighborhood/town...quite frankly, I am tired of snow this year.

LOL I also used to live in Cedar Park. Never saw a flake fall there either...

I have lived in this area for five decades and never do I remember anything near this much snow. It usually would melt before it could accumulate.

Yuck! Looks like my house every day!! I am so sick of snow!!!!

(But, when I lived down south.....it was a treat, so.....enjoy!!) ;)

It was magificant for two days, then it was gone, the sun is now shining and all that remains are lumps where the neighborhood children built snowmen and all sorts of snow animals.

Now that I could live with.... how wonderful to see it melt that quick. This stuff will stick around for a while. Everyday we keep adding more to the mess. I am starting to feel like I did when I lived in MI..snow everyday.

Actually, a few weeks back we did see some snow falling! I was talking about this storm. And a few years ago in Round Rock, we had a couple inches of accumulation.
