Jack went into tachycardia again tonight
 

No emergency. He cleared after a few minutes but we are pretty down about it.

he is 21 months old and it has been a year since his last attack. We had hoped that he would have cleared by 1 year and thus likely never have to deal with it again.

Since he is past a year old, this means there is a greater chance that he will be on medicine until he is at least 4 or 5 years old.

We are kind of down but still know that God is on our side and walking with us.

I know many here have prayed for this little guy from day one and wanted to update you all. Thank you for you kindness and prayers.

Please keep praying for our little guy.

For nine years our bundle of joy ( one of our grandson's) has had serious problems and it looks like we are going to have to bring him back to the states once again however he was given a death sentence when he was 5 months old...For nine years we have had this precious gift of God with us...Keep holding on...we know the up and down feelings that sickness brings however we have a God that we can fully tust. We are praying for you all and baby Jack.

Ferd, I will admit that I have not prayed for Jack or for Levi in a while now, assuming that no news was good news. But I will certainly add him back to my prayers now.

So sorry to hear about this. I just took him off of my prayer list about 2 weeks ago, because like Margie, I thought no news was good news. I will put him back on the prayer list.

We totally understand. And that is how it is supposed to be...

The good news is that Levi has been released from the Cardiologist (last August) and is totaly clear of any heart issues.

Thank you all so much for the prayers thru the years. They have been a great comfort and have sustained us thru some dark days.

We are confident that Jack will be fine in the long run, this setback just seems to mean it is going to be a longer run.

Ferdinand, I am sad to hear of this latest episode after such a long time. I know it is discouraging but know that many people are praying for your son and your entire family.

Ferd, I have prayed & will continue to pray for both Jack & your family.

Thing is, while I have not had the experience with Tachycardia as little jack has, I have had bouts of Tachycardia & part of my medication I take is a beta blocker to slow my heart rate down.

Also, just yesterday afternoon my youngest daughter was sick so we took her to Mt St Joesephs hospital to get checked out & she had Pneumonia with tachycardia.
They were actually more concerned with the Tachycardia then they were with Pneumonia.
They put her on IV Antibiotics & then transferred us over to Childrens Hospital for further assessment & possible treatment.
We were discharged at 3:30 this morning.

Got home slept & then off to Church.

It is hard to see the ones we love suffer especially our children.

God is good & he knows exactly where you all are safely in the palms of his hands!

Always in prayer.

Some pictures of Little Jack!

He Loves to jump in every puddle he can find.

He has to help us cook (weather we want his help or not). This is good at times because he will try more foods this way.

And sometimes we really enjoy our food...Levi had just taught him how to slurp a noodle; he giggled the whole way through dinner.

Thanks Ferd, she is responding well to the oral antibiotics & is on the mend.
I am amazed at how much Levi & Jack look alike. They are fine looking boys.
BTW, how has your back been doing?

My back is kind of ok. I still have pain all the time but its livable. I am blessed to have friends who pray for us!
