My Daughter's Wedding!
 

My youngest daughter got married yesterday! I didn't cry at her sister's wedding, but I have to admit that I shed a few tears yesterday. The bridal party consisted of six bridesmaids and groomsmen, but it was still simple and very sweet.

What made it even more special was the fact that Pastor Eddie (Cupples) performed the ceremony at the church that he used to pastor in Adamsville. We no longer attend church there, but it was her childhood (19 of 22 years) house of worship, and where she had always wanted her wedding. The current pastor granted us use of the church, so both men created a wonderful memory for my daughter.

The wedding was so sweet and I'm glad that we could take part in it. It's a weird feeling when you start marrying off the kids that you dedicated as babies. This one is special, as she almost died in a car wreck when she was just a few months old (and on our 10th wedding anniversary!!). But God was merciful and she came through fine. So it's good to see her happy in this new phase of her life.

But I just gotta know - how's come we weren't involved in the planning of this shin-dig? I mean, don't we do that here on AFF? We're working on baby showers right now, you know. LOL

I have one I took with my phone of the wedding party, but it's so far off, that it doesn't do them justice. I'll wait and let the MOM post pictures.

LOL! I thought of that the other day, Margie. When I was going to post the thread, I was like, "I probably haven't even mentioned that she's engaged."

Since I'm not on here as much as I would like to be, I didn't think about doing a wedding thread!!
