I do agree! Because the word simply means (in its most basic meaning) "don't know". How can it be a sin not to know something -- no matter what that something is?

That is what I meant ...............plus if you go back far enough the orig use of the word was used for people who did not believe in gnostic gospels. At least that is what I read.

LOL, you're going to have to spell it out for me! Does that scripture say (or not) that it is (or isn't) a sin not to help someone get saved?

It is not a sin to help someone ,but to not help them or warn them is a sin based on this verse.

Ah. I see, thanks. This part:"but his blood will I require at thine hand" kinda threw me. Sounds like I gotta kill him, if I don't save him. :lol

Every time Timmy gets to feeling lost, that stupid dog of his shows up around here barking, yipping and tugging at the pant leg of my bib overalls.

"What is it girl? Timmy fall in the well...? Is Timmy lost in the woods? What is it girl?"

She just barks and yips and tries to get us to follow her. Last time we found Timmy under these circumstances he wasn't lost at all. He was just just sipping a latte at Starbucks.

Or removing, say, Maccabees? Oh. Wait. How 'bout James? Is it a sin to think the Epistle of James doesn't belong in the Bible?
